Reno-Tahoe International Airport covers 1,450 acres of space, making it one of the largest airports in Nevada. On average, there are 226 aircraft operations on a daily basis across commercial general aviation, air taxi, and military flights. RNO has 3 runways to accommodate the departures and arrivals to the airport. The main terminal, named after late U.S. Senator Howard Cannon is the current passenger terminal, with a main lobby that features various art works and sculptures. The airport also hosts the Reno Air National Guard Based, a 60-acre complex on the West side of the airport. The airport is split into two levels with the lower level having amenities such as baggage claim, ticketing counters, ATM machines and accessible restrooms. In true Nevada fashion, you can also find slot machine in the middle of the main area of the lower level of the airport. The upper level is where you will find all the departure gates split between two concourses, B and C. While concourse B has 11 gates, Concourse C has 12 for a total of 23 gates.

Airline carriers are associated with specific gates and the one you go to will depending on who your flight is booked with. Concourse B has 11 gates numbered from B1 to B11 with 3 carriers operating out of it Currently, only 10 of the gates are being used. Gates B1, B3, B5, B7, B9 and B11 are being used by Southwest Airlines, while gates B4 and B6 are used by JetBlue. Delta Airlines uses gates B8 and B10. Concourse 3 has 12 gates with 6 carriers operating from it. Currently, Alaska Airlines operates out of gates C4 and C6, Allegiant Air out of gate C11, American Airlines from gates C7, C8, C9, C19 and C12, United Airlines from gates C1, C3 and C5 and Volaris from gate C2.
